Garland Forrester

 

Funeral services for Mr. Garland Forrester, 84, Lula, route 1, will be at 3:30 Sunday at the Holly Springs Baptist Church. Rev. G. M. Jordan, Cornell Stowers, Clyde Coleman and Claud Hood will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the funeral home and will be placed in the church at 2:30 . Mr. Forrester died Saturday, May 8 at the Hall County Hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Hall County, a retired farmer and a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Mae Forrester, Lula; six sons, Verden Forrester, Alto, Tex Forrester, Gainesville; and Huel, Jimmy, Emory and Rev. Larry Forrester, all of Lula; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Carter, Gainesville; Mrs. Preston Tribble, Alto and Mrs. Bill Roberts, Winder; four sisters, Mrs. Clyde Satterfield, Mrs. Clarence Armour and Mrs. R. I. Turner, all of Clermont and Mrs. T. H. Kiser, Rome; two brothers, Hobert Forrester, Lula and B. D. Forrester, Gainesville; 26 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
