William Thomas Myers, 58, Lula route 2 died Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the McGahee-Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Skitts Mountain Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Ruby Arnold Myers. (The Daily Times, Gainesville, GA., Friday, September 7, 1984)

 

Willie Newton Myers, Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Aug. 26) for Willie Newton Myers, 36, of Gainesville, route 2, who died Saturday. Services will be held at 3 p.m. at Ward's Chapel with the Rev. Roy Helton and the Rev. Jack Pierce officiating. Interment will be in the Skitts Mountain Baptist Church cemetery. The body will be at the residence on the Old Oakwood Road. Mr. Myers was a life time resident of Hall County. He was a veteran of World War II and member of Mulberry Baptist Church. He had been employed by New Holland mill for a number of years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Allen Myers, Gainesville, route 2; one son, Curtis Myers, Gainesville, route 2; his father W. J. Myers, Gainesville; five brothers, Dewey Myers, Athens; Chester Myers, Royston; Grady Myers, Athens; Fred Myers, Fair Play, S.C.; and J. B. Myers, Commerce; four sisters, Mrs. Beulah Glenn, Commerce; Mrs. C. L. Ledford, Gainesville; Mrs. J. D. Dodd, Gainesville; and Mrs. Robert Rochester, Gainesville.
