Dewey Myers, Sr., Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Skitt Mountain Baptist Church for Dewey Myers, 72, of Lula. The Rev. Truitt Loggins and Gary DeMore will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Mr. Myers, a native of Jackson County, died yesterday at the Hall County Hospital following a brief illness. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Myers, Lula; three sons, Dewey Myers, Jr., William Myers, both of Lula; Edward Myers, Mt. Airy; two daughters, Miss Mary Myers, Mt. Airy; Mrs. Roy Keller, Mt. Airy; one sister, Mrs. Garland Foster, Lula; six grandchildren. McGahee Funeral Home of Cornelia is in charge. (The Gainesville Times, Gainesville, GA, June 21, 1972, page 2)
