Mildred Cook Myers

Mildred Cook Myers, 99, of Gainesville, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2001, at the Bell-Minor Home following a brief illness. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Kent, Ohio. Mrs. Myers was a native of Ohio and had lived in Gainesville since 1974. She was the daughter of the late Oliver and Mabel Post Cook. Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bergen Byers. She was a member of the AARP and the Homemakers Club. Mrs. Myers was a retired secretary with Alderman Transport. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sandra Myers, Gainesville; grandson and wife, Scott and Rhonda Myers, Annapolis, Md.; and several nieces and nephews
