Byrd Abner Myers

Byrd Abner Myers, Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at New Bridge Baptist Church for Byrd Abner Myers, 69, Cleveland route 1. The Rev Verner London, the Rev. Marvin Bearden and the Rev. Asa Dorsey will officiate, and interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at McGahee-Griffin Funeral Home. Mr. Myers a native of Hall County died Friday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. He was a retired electrician and a member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margie Nell Garner Myers, Cleveland; one son Roy Delbert Myers, Baldwin; two daughters, Mrs. Hoyt (Jean) Osborne, Demorest; Miss Barbara Lee Myers; three sisters, Mrs. Arnold Farmer; Mrs. Brade Rogers, both of Clermont; and Mrs. Fred Moore Cleveland; and five grandchildren.
