James Carlisle (parents Robert Carlisle and Martha (Mary) Porter) was born 10 May 1826 in Hall County, GA. He died Jan 1907 in Hall County, GA. Probably buried at New Chattahochee Cemetery but no headsone found. Documents list a James David Carlisle and a James Carlisle moved from the old Carlisle Cemetery when Lake Lanier was formed in 1954
