Garvin Lonzo Myers

Garvin Lonzo Myers, Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Ward's Funeral Home of Gainesville for Garvin Lonzo Myers, 61, of Coker Road, Gainesville route 5. The Rev. Harold Pettitt will officiate and interment will be in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Mr. Myers, a lifelong resident of Hall County, died today at the Hall County Hospital following a sudden illness. He was employed by Gainesville Mill for 25 years and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Horn Myers, Gainesville, route 5; three sons, Garvin Lee Myers, Carl William Myers, both of Gainesville; Grady Myers, Gainesville, route 5; two brothers, Wilburn Myers, Gainesville; Hoyt Myers, Mableton; four sisters, Mrs. Nora Maddox, Mrs. Mae Stow, Mrs. Hattie Thompson, all of Gainesville; Mrs. Ethel Kidd, Gainesville route 5, one grandson, Richard Lee Myers, Gainesville.
