Mrs. Julia Reed Myers, Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Julia Reed Myers, 92, 1664 Riverside Drive. The Rev. T. Richard Davis will officiate with interment in Alta Vista Cemetery. Mrs. Myers died Friday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. A native of North, S.C., she had lived in Gainesville for the last 46 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Myers was the widow of Col. David Myers of Riverside Military Academy. She received her education at Orangeburg College and Limestone College in Gaffney, S.C. For many years, she was a substitute teacher in the Gainesville school system.
