Lillian L. Myers Oliver, Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Aug. 24) at Skitts Mountain Baptist Church for Mrs. Lillie Myers Oliver, 79, Lula, route 1. The Rev. Roy Irvin and Garnett Campbell will officiate, and interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will be at the residence of her son, Shelton Oliver of Lula route 1, until the funeral hour. Mrs. Oliver died yesterday (Aug. 23) at a private convalescent home following an extended illness. She was a lifetime resident of Hall County and a member of the Skitts Mountain Baptist Church for more than 50 years. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Willie Mae Savage, Doraville; five sons, N. C. Oliver, Shelton Oliver, Wiley Oliver and E.B. Oliver, all of Lula route 1; James Oliver, Gainesville; one brother, Jennings Myers, Gainesville; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Smith Lula; 33 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
