Lester Leroy Armour
Lester Leroy Armour, 59, Mocassin Gap Road, Lula, died Monday, Feb. 12, 1990, following an extended illness. Mr. Armour was a native of Hall County and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a son of the late Royster and Nancy Smith Armour. Mr. Armour was preceded in death by a brother, MR. Clyde Armour in 1989. Mr. Armour was employed by Harris Calorific. Survivors include tow daughters, Lisa Reed and Michelle Green, both of Lula; two grandsons, Drew Reed and Thorne Green, both of Lula; three sisters, Jeroldine Oliver, Martha Etris and Thelma Dyer, all of Lula; two brothers, Paul Armour, Lula; Marvin Armour, Alto; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1990, at Living Mission Methodist Church. The Rev. Bobby Griffin and the Rev. Woodrow Hix will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the residence of Mrs. Jeroldine Oliver, 6035 Carter's Alley, Lula. Little-Davenport Funeral Home of Gainesville is in charge.
