Fifty-one Revolutionary Vets were living in Hall County in the early part of the Counties creation, or at least these were fortunate drawers in one of the States land lotteries and their names were recorded. There may have been other veterans of Hall County however they may have drawn "blanks".

Some of these men after drawing these lots moves with their families and took possession of the lands. Others passed the land on to children.
