Last Will and Testament of James Saye

State of Georgia

Hall County,

In the name of God Amen, I James Saye of said State and County being afflicted and knowing that I must shortly depart this world deem it right and proper both as respects myself and my family that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me. I therefore make this my last will and testament hereby revolking and annulling all other heretofore made by me

Item first-I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and christian manner suitable to my circmstances and condition. My soul I trust shall rest with God who gave it as I hope for eternal salvation through the blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ whose religion I have professed and as I humbly trust enjoyed for years.

Item Second-I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my executors hereinafter named as I am unwiling my creditors should be delayed of their rights

. Item third-I give and devise to my beloved wife Elizabeth the remains of my property to dispose of as she pleases as long as she remains a widow and divide it out to the children as she may think proper.

Item fourth-I constitute and appoint my beloved wife Elizabeth Executrix to this my last Will and testament, this 3rd . December 1855
