T. E. (Chris) Myers, Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today (Mar. 5) at Patterson's Oglethorpe Hill for T. E. (Chris) Myers, 66, Leisure Lake, Gainesville. The Rev. Dean David Collins will officiate, and interment will be in Arlington Cemetery in Atlanta. Mr. Myers died Tuesday (Mar. 3) at Hall County Hospital following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ernestine Hailey Myers, Gainesville; one brother, C. H. Myers, Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Adda Leeland, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Fred W. William Jennings Myers, Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Skitts Mountain Baptist Church for W. J. Myers, 87, of 1030 Purina Drive. The Rev. Jack Pierce will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the residence. Mr. Myers, a native of White County who had resided in Hall County for the past 65 years, died yesterday at the Hall County Hospital following a brief illness. He retired as a textile worker from New Holland Mill in 1947. He was a member of the Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Dewey Myers, Watkinsville; Chester Myers, Bowersville; J. B. Myers II, Commerce; four daughters, Mrs. Beulah Glenn, Commerce; Mrs. Ella Dodd, Mrs. Ethelene Ledford, Mrs. Lois Rochester, all of Gainesville; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Smith, Lula route 1; 33 grand- children, 66 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
